Two people bailed in Middlesex University murder investigation

Two people arrested for the murder of a man at Middlesex University have today, Tuesday, 4 November, been bailed.

A 21-year-old woman [A] and a 20-year-old man [C] who were arrested in connection with the case yesterday, Monday, 3 November, have been bailed to a date later this month.

Two other men also arrested yesterday, [B – 21 yrs and D – 20 yrs], remain in custody.

Police were called to Middlesex University, Greyhound Hill, NW4 at 01:09hrs on Friday 31 October following reports of a fight.

Officers attended and found a man suffering from serious injuries following a stabbing.

He was taken by London Ambulance Service to a West London Hospital in a critical condition. He died in hospital a short time later.

The victim has been named as Noor Hassan Barre, 22, (07.07.92) from North London.

On Saturday, 1 November, a post-mortem examination held at Northwick Park Hospital, gave the cause of death as stab wounds to the chest.

Enquiries continue.

The investigation is being led by officers from the Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC).
