Three arrested following car theft in Newtonabbey

Three males have been arrested following a car theft in Newtownabbey on the evening of Tuesday 4 November.
Inspector Niall Collins said: “Just before 9.10pm it was reported that a car had been stolen from the Rathcoole Drive area. At approximately 11.20pm, the car was sighted on the M1 near Sprucefield. The car was brought to a stop in the Upper Springfield Road area of West Belfast at around 11.50pm.
“The three males aged 22, 19 and 14 were all arrested on suspicion of taking and driving away (TADA) and allowing self to be carried. All three are currently assisting police with their enquiries.”
