Seven Arrested Following the Death of a in Warwick

As part of this ongoing investigation, earlier this morning (Thursday 20th November) four adults and three juveniles all from the local area were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with this incident and are in police custody helping police with enquiries

Police were called at approximately 8.50pm on Tuesday 18th November to a report of a man having collapsed. There is believed to have been an interaction between the man and a group of people prior to his collapse.

The man was taken to Warwick Hospital by ambulance but was declared deceased at 9.35pm that evening.

Chief Inspector Michael Naughton said: “The mans next of kin have been being kept informed and our thoughts and sympathies are with them at this tragic time. We are still working to establish the exact circumstances of this incident and the seven people are assisting us in achieving this. The family of the deceased continue to be supported by specially trained police officers.

“We continue to appeal to anyone who has any information and ask them to contact Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 357 of November 18, 2014.”
