Police appeal for help in catching thieves who stole money from a Great Sutton shop

At around 6:44am on the 2 November police were called to an incident at McColls on Old Chester Road, Great Sutton.

Offender(s) had gained access to the premises and taken an amount of cigarettes as well as a quantity of cash.  The cash which was taken had been marked with a purple security dye and police are asking anyone who comes into contact with the dyed cash or who may have seen someone with dye on their clothing or hands to get in touch with them.

A 40 year old local woman has been arrested for burglary and bailed while police enquiries continue.
