Piece of ear found in Sunderland City Centre

Police are continuing to investigate an incident after a piece of ear was found in Sunderland city centre at 6.53am on Sunday morning, November 16.

The injured man aged 26 has been located and he has received treatment at Sunderland Royal Hospital and has been released.

Officers are continuing to make enquiries into an earlier altercation at 5.16am on Derwent Street in Sunderland which officers believe is linked.
