Men arrested after Northallerton robbery report

Detectives investigating the report of a robbery in Northallerton have arrested four men.

The arrested men are aged 22, 38, 41 and 47, who are all from Northallerton, were arrested on Saturday 15 November 2014, on suspicion of robbery, in connection with an incident which occurred between 12pm and 1am on Tuesday 11 November 2014, on Valley Road, near the junction with Central Drive.

They have all been released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.

As a result of the incident, a 43-year-old Northallerton man suffered serious injuries and was treated at James Cook Hospital,Middlesbrough. He has now been released.

Detective Inspector Shaun Page, of Northallerton CID, said: “Although we have made a number of arrests following this incident, we are still investigating the circumstances surrounding it and how the man suffered his injuries.

“If you have any information which could help this enquiry, I urge you to come forward and contact the police straight away.”
