Man and woman due in court today on charges of stealing poppy tins

A 44-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman are due to appear at South West Surrey Magistrates Court today (Tuesday, 11 November) charged with a number of offences of stealing poppy collection boxes.

James Pretty and Karin Latham of Arethusa Way, Bisley have both been charged with the theft of Royal British Legion charity boxes from a Co-op store in Chobham on 5 November and a Sainsbury’s Local store in Bisley on 3 November. Pretty has been charged with a further offence of the theft of a poppy collection box from a Morrison’s supermarket in Frimley Green on 5 November.
