Four arrests made in Hendon murder investigation

Detectives investigating a murder in Hendon have this morning made four arrests.

A 21-year-old woman [A], two 20-year old men [C] and [D] and a 21-year-old man; have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

All four remain in custody at this time.

Police were called to Middlesex University, Greyhound Hill, NW4 at 0109hrs on Friday 31 October following reports of a fight.

Officers attended and found a 22-year-old man suffering from serious injuries following a stabbing.

The man was taken by London Ambulance Service to a West London Hospital in a critical condition. He died in hospital a short time later.

Next-of-kin have been informed. Formal identification is yet to take place.

A post-mortem examination held on Saturday, 1 November at Northwick Park Hospital, gave the cause of death as stab wounds to the chest.

The investigation is being led by officers from the Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC) under Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Wall.

DCI Wall said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident on the university campus near the student union area shortly after 0100hrs on Friday 31 October. There was a student event ongoing before this fight took place and many people would have been passing through the area before and after the fatal stabbing.
