Essex police officer PC 74950 Duncan Grant pleads guilty to harassment

An Essex Police officer has been convicted at Chelmsford Magistrates Court today of harassment.

PC 74950 Duncan Grant, aged 35, who is based at Canvey Police Station, was arrested on Tuesday November 11 after police had received an allegation from a woman.

He was charged today and appeared before Chelmsford Magistrates Court this morning. He pleaded guilty and was given a £600 fine, ordered to pay court costs and was made subject of a restraining order. He is currently suspended from duty and his position will now be considered in light of the court result.
