Eighth arrest made after assault in North West London

Detectives investigating an assault outside a block of flats on Grahame Park Estate, NW9 on Friday, 24 October have made an eighth arrest in connection with the incident:

[A] A 16-year-old boy
[B] A 16-year-old boy
[C] A 15-year-old boy
[D] A 16-year-old boy
[E] A 16-year-old boy
[F] A 16-year-old boy
[H] A 16-year-old boy

were all arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

[G] A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

[A-G] have been bailed to a date in early January.

[H] has been bailed to a date in mid December.

Police were called at 2217hrs to reports of an incident outside a block of flats on Grahame Park Estate, NW9.

On arrival officers found a 23-year-old man suffering from a serious head injury.

London Ambulance Service was called and the man was taken to a north London hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Detectives believe the victim was assaulted outside Mercury Block on the Grahame Park Estate.

Officers from Trident Gang Crime Command are investigating.
