Appeal for man following assault in Westminster

Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a man they want to speak to in connection with an assault in Westminster.

Officers have issued CCTV images of Pascal Fitzmaurice, 24, (06.04.90), following the assault at 03:00hrs on Friday, 14 November.

A 22-year-old man was assaulted in Wardour Street, W1.

Officers believe it was an unprovoked attack. It left the victim with serious head and facial injuries.

He is currently in a central London hospital in serious but stable condition.

Pascal Fitzmaurice is described as a light skinned black male , of muscular build with large tattoos on his right arm. He has connections to Richmond to West London.

Members of the publice are advised not to approach Fitzmaurice but call 999 immediately if they see him.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts are also asked to call 999 or the police non-emergency line on 101.

Although a number of witnesses have already come forward, police are also asking that anyone else who witnessed the assault contact the Westminster Major Crime Unit at Charing Cross Police Station on the police non-emergency line on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via
