Appeal for information following burglary in Belfast

Detectives are appealing for information in relation to a burglary that took place in the Dunraven Gardens area of Belfast on Wednesday 03 November 2014.

Detective Chief Inspector Colin Gillis says: “Shortly after 8.15pm police received a report that three males claiming to be terrorists forced their way into the house of an elderly male who lives in the Dunraven Gardens area of Belfast. The three males took the mans wallet and left.

“We would appeal to anyone who may have information relating to this incident or who may have witnessed three males acting suspiciously in the Dunraven Gardens area last night to contact detectives at Musgrave on 101. Alternatively information can be provided anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by contacting 0800 555 111.”
