Appeal for information following a burglary in Northumberland

Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Northumberland.

Between 2pm and 10pm on Wednesday, September 24, burglars broke into a house on Whiteside Bank, Riding Mill.

They searched the property and stole jewellery and collectables to around the value of £7,000 before making off.

A collection of model cars were stolen, including two American transporters in blue and white, a Guy Warrior green truck as well as a Snoopy’s 1970’s watch.

Enquiries are ongoing into the burglary and police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact them on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 1305 240914 or by ringing Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
