Appeal following burglary in Watford

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in Watford, during which watches and computer equipment were stolen.

A flat in the Stratford Road area was targeted between 6.30pm and 7.45pm on Tuesday, November 4.

The offender(s) gained entry by forcing open a bedroom window. A search of the property was then carried out and several items were stolen including:

* A silver Apple MacBook Air laptop

* An external hard drive

* A PlayStation 3 console

* A black and silver Emporio Armani wrist watch with black strap and round face

* A white and silver Emporio Armani wrist watch with white strap and round face

* A silver Emporio Armani wrist watch with a black oblong face and a silver chain link strap

* A Mont Blanc wrist watch

Investigating officer Detective Constable Tanzeem Siddiqui said: “The victims of this crime have understandably been left very upset by what has happened.

“I am appealing to anyone who saw anything or anyone suspicious in the area around the time of the burglary to contact me immediately. If you have any other information about this incident then please get in touch.”

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact DC Siddiqui via the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference C1/14/5207.
