Appeal after offence on bus in Newcastle

Police are appealing for information after an outraging public decency offence on a bus in Newcastle.

It happened on the number 40 Stagecoach bus between Newcastle city centre and Byker, between 10.30am and 11am on Sunday, October 26, when a man was seen to perform a sex act on himself.

The man is described as white, aged between 40 and 50 years old, medium build, with white hair and wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a navy blue long sleeved jacket.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on 101 ext 69191, quoting reference 607 29/09/14, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
