A murder investigation has been launched following the death of an 18-year-old man in Southwark.

A murder investigation has been launched following the death of an 18-year-old man in Southwark.

Police were called at 14:28hrs on Friday, 31 October, to reports of a stabbing in Pilgrimage Street, SE1.

Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended. An 18-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene at 15:13hrs.

Officers believe they know the identity of the deceased, but await formal identification. Next of kin have been informed.

A post-mortem examination will be held at Greenwich Mortuary on Saturday, 1 November.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.

There has been no arrest. Enquiries continue.
