Two charged with perverting the course of justice in Hampton manslaughter investigation

Detectives investigating the manslaughter of a man who was in collision with a van in Hampton have charged two men with perverting the course of justice.

The collision occurred near the Cardinal Wolsey pub in Hampton Court Road, Hampton and the victim was Charles Chatterton Hickox Junior, 53 (7/11/60) a US national.

[C] Kian Notarki, 19 (16/3/95) of Beech Way, Twickenham and [D] Mehrad Mohmadi, 46 (11/09/1969) of Hampton Hill appear on bail at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on 17 October charged with perverting the course of justice.

Notarki was charged after returning on bail on 3 October and Mohmadi was charged after he returned on bail on 13 October.

One man has previously been charged over the death.

[A] Rostam Notarki, 52 (12/1/62) of Beech Way, Twickenham next appears at Kingston Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing (PCMH) on 9 December charged with the manslaughter of Mr Hickox on 7 September and with perverting the course of justice.

A 49-year-old man [B] who was originally arrested and bailed to return in September was released with no further action.
