Police appeal after GB triathlete’s bicycle stolen in Hillingdon

Police Officers from the joint Transport for London and Metropolitan Police Service Roads and Transport Policing Command are appealing for help in identifying a man and locating a stolen Corratec Pro bicycle belonging to a GB Triathlete.

The modified Corratec bicycle, which belongs to Claudio Picco and is valued at approximately £4,000, was stolen on 8 October 2014 from Uxbridge Athletics Club, UB8.

The victim parked and locked his bicycle outside the club at about 18:30 hrs and when he returned at about 21:00 hrs, the bike was gone.

The suspect is described as having dark hair, wearing black clothing.

Officers from Hillingdon Safer Transport Team investigating the crime are releasing the image of the unique bicycle and ask anyone with information to contact PC Lisa Khelifi leading the investigation on 07825 386 494 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
