Murder investigation launched in Hendon after man stabbed

A murder investigation has been launched in Hendon after a man was fatally stabbed.
Police in Barnet were called to Middlesex University, Greyhound Hill, NW4 at 0109hrs on Friday 31 October following reports of a fight.
Officers attended and found a 22-year-old man suffering from serious injuries following a stabbing.

The man was taken by London Ambulance Service to a West London Hospital in a critical condition. He died in hospital a short time later.
Next-of-kin have been informed. Formal identification awaits.
A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
No arrests have been made.
An investigation is being led by officers from the Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC) under Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Wall.
DCI Wall said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident on the university campus near the student union area shortly after 0100hrs today. There was a student event ongoing before this fight took place and many people would have been passing through the area before and after the fatal stabbing.
