Man charged after Coventry church damaged

A man will appear at Coventry Magistrates Court today (28 October) where he will stand accused of damaging a Coventry church earlier this month.
Peter Kerhat, 30 from Clement Street in the Stoke area of Coventry was arrested from the city centre yesterday (27 October) as officers investigated a separate report of damage to a shop window.
The warehouseman was charged with criminal damage to St John Baptist Church on Fleet Street which is believed to have happened on 21 October, he will also answer to further charges of damage to a city centre shop.
