Joshua Caird charged with the murder of Donna Eastwood

Kent Police has charged 26 year-old Joshua Caird, of Almond Road in Dartford, with murder.
Officers found a womans body at the scene of a vehicle fire in Rowhill Road, Dartford, in the early hours of Saturday 18 October. The body has since been formally identified as 26 year-old local woman Donna Eastwood.
Caird was arrested on 19 October and charged on the evening of 20 October. He remains in police custody, due to appear at Medway Magistrates Court by video link on 21 October.

The victim’s family issued the following statement: ‘Donna was a loving mother and will always be mummy and daddy’s little angel. All her family loved her and life will not be the same without her.
‘Thank you to all her friends for their kind words.
Detective Inspector Ivan Beasley from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate said: ‘The victims family has also requested that their privacy be respected at what is obviously a very traumatic and difficult time for them.
‘Police are still appealing for anyone with information about the vehicle fire in Rowhill Road, Dartford in the early hours of Saturday 18 October, to contact Kent Police on 101 or anonymously to Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
