Appeal for witnesses following burglary in West Moor

Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in West Moor.

At around 8.40pm on Thursday, October 30, police received a report of burglary on Great Lime Road.

Two men entered the property and made off with a safe.

The elderly occupant was not injured but was left shaken by the incident.

The men were described as being well-built and wearing masks.

Extra officers are on patrol in the area to carry out enquiries and provide reassurance to the community.
