Three arrested following woman’s death – Ipswich

Three people are in custody this morning, Wednesday 13 March, following the death of a woman in Ipswich last night.


Police received a call just after 11:30pm from the ambulance service reporting that they were at a property in Hogarth Road, Ipswich tending to a woman who was in cardiac arrest. The woman, who was in her twenties, was sadly pronounced deceased on scene.


Officers remain on scene at two properties in Hogarth Road this morning as an investigation begins to establish the circumstances around the womans death.


A 33-year-old man, a 21-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, who are all from Ipswich, have been arrested on suspicion of administering a noxious substance. They have been taken to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where they remain.


Police are appealing for anyone with information in relation to this incident to contact Ipswich CID on 101.
