School burglary

POLICE are appealing for information after a school burglary in Whittlesey.

Offenders broke into Alderman Jacobs School, Drybread Road, between 2.40am and 2.55am yesterday (Sunday).

They broke into the school grounds, caused damage to a portacabin and stole a games console and cables.

Detective Constable Rachel Pearce said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who may have any information about the theft.

“We’re working with the school, but I would like local residents to call us if they have any information or saw anything suspicious in the area.”
