Police name elderly woman found dead in Warmsworth, Doncaster

Officers investigating the death of a 70-year-old woman found dead at an address on Norbreck Road, Warmsworth yesterday (Tuesday, 12 March, 2013) have identified the woman as Francess Lee.

Officers were called to the address on Norbreck Road, Warmsworth, Doncaster, during the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, 12 March, 2013) where Francess body was found.

The 66-year-old man arrested in connection with this incident has now been released on bail and continues to assist police with inquiries to establish the sequence of events leading up to the death of Mrs Lee.  Investigating officers are not seeking anyone else in connection with this incident.

A post-mortem which took place yesterday (Tuesday, 12 March) concluded that Francess Lee died of a head injury.

Officers investigating this incident are appealing for witnesses, or for anyone with information, to call South Yorkshire Police immediately on 101, or if you are deaf or hard of hearing on 18001 101 (text phone) or 07786 220 022 (SMS) and quote reference 32 of 12 March.
