Police continue to appeal for witnesses to serious assault in Doncaster

Police in Doncaster have released CCTV images of several possible witnesses they would like to speak to regarding an alleged assault near Doncaster town centre left a man with serious injuries.

The incident, which occurred at around 5.30pm on Saturday, 23 February, near a telephone box on Kings Road at the junction with Broxholme Lane, left a 39-year-old man with head injuries.

Police would like to speak to the people pictured, as they may have witnessed the incident and could hold information that would assist with the investigation.

Anyone who has information about the alleged assault should contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 1058 of Saturday 23 February, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
