Police appeal for information after a number of burglaries from caravans in Gateshead

Police are appealing for information after a number of burglaries from caravans in Gateshead.

Between 3.15pm on Friday, March 8, and 7.30am on Monday, March 11, 14 burglaries took place at caravans parked at Newburn Bridge Road in Ryton.

Items taken included food, drink and household goods such as an iron. Some of the other caravans were broken into and searched but nothing was taken.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact police in Gateshead on the 101-non emergency number.
