Operation Nemesis: six charged

Six people have now been charged with drugs offences following this morning’s Operation Nemesis raids in Burton.

The following have been charged and remanded in custody to appear before magistrates at Burton tomorrow (Thurs) morning:

Brian Roberts (40), of no fixed address, who is charged with offering to supply heroin and crack cocaine.

Paul Taylor (45), of Queen Street, Burton, Nassar Ali Latif (39) of Redwood Drive, Burton, and Ursula Young (43), of Shobnall Street, Burton, who are all charged with the supply of heroin.

A further two men have been released on bail to appear before magistrates at Burton tomorrow morning, they are:

Shabarn Ali (23), of Derby Street, Burton, who is charged with the supply of cannabis and offering to supply cannabis, and Gavin Bell (34), of Chapel Street, Church Gresley, Derbyshire, who is charged with the supply of heroin.

Two men, aged 36 and 34, both from Burton, remain in custody for questioning.
