Man dies after suffering head injuries in December

John Lord, 59, from Little Paxton, St Neots, was taken to hospital on December 14 after suffering head injuries outside the Tudor Rose Club, in Huntingdon Road, St Neots.
It is still unclear how he sustained the injuries and detectives are still trying to piece together the exact circumstances around the incident.
He was initially discharged from hospital but readmitted and died at Addenbrooke’s Hospital on Monday (March 4).

It is not yet known whether he died as a result from the head injuries suffered in December.
Detective Inspector Jon McAdam, leading the investigation, said: “Our thoughts are with the family of Mr Lord. We have been continuing our investigation since the initial incident to try to piece together exactly what happened on that night in December.
“We know there a number of people who either spoke to Mr Lord that night or were in the close proximity of where he was when he suffered the injuries.
“I would urge these people to come forward and speak to us.”
