Have your say on policing of south east Manchester’s railways

March 11, 2013, 11:37 am

British Transport Police is giving people who use the railway in and around south east Manchester the chance to have their say.

Officers from the South East Manchester Neighbourhood Policing team will be hosting the latest in series of Police and Communities Together (PACT) meetings at Tower Block, Manchester Piccadilly rail station, on Wednesday, 20 March, at 10am.

PC Andy Collier said: “Neighbourhood Policing is all about speaking to people and finding out what matters to them.

“These PACT meetings will give us the chance to do just that and I encourage anyone who uses the railway in the area to come along and speak to BTP.

“We want to tackle issues that really matter to local people, but we can only do this if those people are prepared to work with us and tell us what is going on.”
