Disturbance at Gateshead house

A man has been arrested after a disturbance at a Gateshead house.

At 8.28pm on Sunday, March 3, a 29-year-old man reported that he had been assaulted inside a house at Eastwood Gardens in Felling. He suffered minor facial injuries and received hospital treatment before being discharged.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault and is currently in custody. Enquiries are ongoing.

At this stage it’s believed this was a domestic incident and all those involved were known to each other.
