Appeal to trace absconder from HMP North Sea camp

March 4, 2013, 4:32 pm

We’re appealing for information to trace a man who has absconded from HMP North Sea Camp.

John Loveridge aged 28 was sentenced to five years in prison in 2011 for offences including burglary and theft and it is thought he may be in the Avon and Somerset area.

He absconded from the prison in Lincolnshire on Monday February 11.

It is believed that Loveridge may be in the Somerset area and members of the public are asked to remain vigilant.

He is described as white; around 5ft 8 to 5ft 9inches tall, of a slim build, with short black hair and hazel coloured eyes. He has a 4 inch scar on back of left hand, a tattoo stating ‘Stacey’ on his right arm. It is possible that he may have a beard or be clean shaven.

Anyone who sees John Loveridge or knows where he may be is asked to call 999 immediately.
