Appeal for information following theft from Carphone Warehouse

March 13, 2013, 2:35 pm

We’re appealing for witnesses and information following an incident at the Carphone Warehouse in Shepton Mallet in which a theft occurred.

At around 3.40pm we received a report that four men had stolen items from the store and then left in a vehicle.

They arrived in a car and walked in with hoods and scarves covering their faces. They took a number of live smart phones and left the store shouting to the staff to stay back.

They made off, running towards Hitchin Lane where they were seen to get into a silver coloured vehicle, possibly a Ford C-Max.

We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen these men in the area or who may have witnessed this crime taking place. Those with information are asked to contact us on 101 quoting crime reference 22069/13.
