Appeal after teen is stabbed in Chingford

Police in Waltham Forest Borough are appealing for witnesses and
information following a stabbing in Chingford.

On Wednesday, 6 March 2013 at 11:13hrs police were called to reports of
a stabbing in Billet Road, E4.

Upon police arrival ooficers found a 15-year-old boy who had been
stabbed, with a number of wounds to his body.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) and London’s Air Ambulance (HEMS) also
attended.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not
thought to be life threatening.

A weapon has been recovered near the scene.

Four youths have been arrested in connection with this incident and have
been taken into custody at an east London police station.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or who may have
witnessed the assault take place near Walthamstow Academy at
approximately 11am this morning to contact Waltham Forest Police on 101.
