Robbery – Ladysmith Road to Old Clee Fields, Grimsby

A man suffered cuts to the face after he was attacked and robbed on a pathway leading between Ladysmith Road and Old Clee fields in Grimsby.
The incident happened at 1720hrs on Monday 11 February.
The victim, a 51-year-old man, was walking alone along the path when two men approached him, made threats to hurt him and demanded property.

His pockets were searched and cash and a carrier bag containing beer was stolen.
He sustained two lacerations to his face and jawline as a result of a scuffle with the thieves and attended hospital for treatment.
The suspects are described as white men in their early 20s, one was 6ft 1ins tall and the other 5ft 9ins tall and both were said to smell strongly of alcohol.
