Reports of Shots Fired – Witnesses Sought

February 25, 2013, 12:06 pm

Police in Luton were called to Wauluds Bank Drive yesterday afternoon (February 23) after a report was

received of gun shots being fired at 3.57pm.

Officers arrived at the location and spoke to numerous witnesses about what they had heard but no victim
has been identified.

Witnesses have reported seeing four youths being approached by two men riding an off-road motorcycle
before a chase towards the underpass. Loud bangs were heard but no witness has been able to confirm
whether a firearm was used and forensic teams have found no evidence that a weapon was discharged.

CCTV cameras have identified a number of people who were in the area at the time of the incident and
detectives are keen to speak with anyone who may have information.
