Man with injuries; New Writtle Street

Police are investigating the circumstances leading up to a 25 year old man from Chelmsford being taken to hospital with a wound to his abdomen.
The man is refusing to assist police with their enquiries.
He was found with in New Writtle Street, jct New London Road, Chelmsford on Thursday afternoon around 3.20pm, February 14 and taken to hospital by ambulance. He received immediate medical aid and his condition is now described as serious but not life threatening.

Police believe that the incident may have occurred in the Wolseley Road area and are appealing for anyone with any witness information to contact the CID office at Chelmsford police station on 101.
