CCTV released after assault

Police have released CCTV images of a man they need to trace in connection with an assault in Sunderland.

It happened at about 11pm on Saturday, December 8, outside the Borough pub in Holmeside when a 22-year-old man was punched in the face. He received hospital treatment for facial injuries.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they need to speak to who as it’s believed he has information which will help the investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
