Burglary; Furrowfelde

Police are appealing for information following a burglary which happened in Basildon.

A house in Furrowfelde was broken in to between 5pm and 6.30pm on February 20, while the residents went food shopping.

Entry was gained by smashing a glass panel in a rear door. Jewellery worth a five-figure sum as well as a four-figure sum of cash was stolen.

Police believe the suspects may have waited for the residents to leave the house before breaking in. Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious is asked to contact Pc Jo Phillips on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
