Two Arrested Over £19,000 Toys And Models Burglary

Police have arrested two men in connection with a burglary at a Bromsgrove warehouse during which remote controlled model helicopters and cars worth more than £19,000 were stolen.

The men, one aged 26 and the other 39, were arrested at Kingstanding and Winson Green yesterday morning (Wednesday, 5 December) during the execution of four search warrants at properties in the Birmingham area.

During the operation West Mercia Police officers also seized a quantity of model helicopters and cars believed to have been stolen in a burglary at the Saxon Business Park, Stoke Prior, which happened on Saturday, 10 November.

The men who were arrested were questioned by detectives at Redditch Police Station and later released on police bail until 27 January, 2013, while the police investigation continues.
