A MAN received hospital treatment after he was rendered unconscious in a busy Scunthorpe street.
The 45-year-old man had been dropped off at the top of Scunthorpe High Street, close to its junction with Frodingham Road at approximately 1800 to 1830hrs.

The next thing the man recalled was picking himself up from the floor leading him to the belief that he had been knocked unconscious.
The man sustained no visible injury and is unsure what happened to him although believes he was the victim of an assault.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information about what happened to the man or the identity of the two men talking to the taxi driver, is asked to contact Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 referring to log 494 of 02 December 2012 or call Crimestoppers onĀ 0800 555 111.
