Woman injured after car left road

November 23, 2012, 11:59 am

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car left the road and went into a ditch.

The black Ford Ka was being driven along the A47 at Sutton at 3pm yesterday (Thursday) when it left the road and entered a ditch.

The driver suffered slight injuries.

Another vehicle that may have been involved in the incident failed to stop at the scene.

A police spokesman said: “I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened or where the other vehicle went after the incident, to call police.”

Anyone with any information should call the Roads Policing Unit on 101.
