VW Polo Stolen In Car Key Burglary At Kidderminster

November 14, 2012, 6:14 pm

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a car was stolen during a burglary in Kidderminster.

It happened between 10.45pm yesterday (Tuesday, 13 November) and 7.15am today (Wednesday, 14 November) at a home off Captain’s Pool Road.

The householders woke to discover their house had been burgled and the thieves had taken the keys to their black VW Polo, registration FL55 ACU, which was stolen from  the drive.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Duncan Lloyd from Kidderminster CID, said: “We are eager to hear from anyone who may have seen the Polo being driven away or has seen it since.

“The car may have been driven off at some speed and if the roads were quiet anyone up early, perhaps working an early shift, may have noticed it.”

Witnesses or anyone with information should contact Det Sgt Lloyd at Kidderminster Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 57-S-141112, or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
