November 22, 2012, 2:12 pm

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and information following the death of a man who fell from a window in west London.

Detectives have now traced the three people they were keen to speak with, but the investigation does continue.

Officers were called at 03:05hrs on Saturday 17 November to reports that a man had fallen from a second-storey window of a block of flats in Chesterton Road W10.

A man was taken by ambulance to St Mary’s Hospital W1, where he later died.

He was Shaka Wilmot, 39 (2.10.73) of that address.

A post-mortem gave cause of death as head injury consistent with a fall.

An incident room opened under DCI Charles King (HSCC).

Detectives were keen to hear from three people who left before police arrived – a man and two women.

All have now been traced and spoken to as witnesses.

Subsequently two people who had been arrested and bailed to return in connection with the investigation – a man [A – 24 ys] and a woman [51 ys] – have now been released with no further action.

DCI King said: “”The death continues to be treated as suspicious at this stage, and we are still appealing for anyone who may have information that could assist us to come forward. If you can help us piece together the events that led to the death, please do so.”

Anyone with information should call the incident room on 020 8721 4054; if you wish to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
