November 26, 2012, 10:51 am

Police in Westminster continue to appeal for witnesses and information
after a double stabbing in the West End.

Police were called at approx. 03:20hrs on Saturday 24 November to
reports of two men injured at Regent Street W1.

Officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended and found the men –
[A – 27 ys; B – 31 ys] – suffering stab wounds.

It is thought that both men were involved in a fight in Kingly Street W1
involving approx. 20 males. During the fight it is believed the men
sustained their injuries before making their way onto Regent Street.

Both were taken to St Mary’s Hospital W2, were treated and discharged,
and subsequently arrested in connection with the inquiry.

They were taken to Charing Cross police station and later bailed to
return pending further inquiries.

An open mind is being kept regarding any motive.
