Theft of Motor Vehicle, Beverley

Police are appealing for information in connection with an incident in which a black coloured Landrover Freelander ended up in a ditch.

The vehicle is believed to have been stolen from an address on Carr Close in Beverley on Sunday 11 November and was later located in a ditch off Park Lane in Cottingham on Monday 12 November by a member of the public.

A 38 year old man was arrested in connection with the motor vehicle theft, however he has been released without charge.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the incident and/or anyone who may be able to identify how the vehicle came to stop in the ditch.

Anyone with information is asked to call Humberside Police tel 101 quoting log 84 of 12 November 2012.
