November 22, 2012, 3:54 pm

A suspected underage drinker assaulted a doorman after being asked to leave a Trafford pub.

The offender became angry when he was asked to leave The Chadwick at 9pm on 29 September 2012.

He then became aggressive towards staff and punched one employee, a 28-year-old man, in the face.

A number of people he was with then joined in and began pushing the victim before they all left down Flixton Road.

The offender is described as white and 16-years-old. Of the three others who joined in, another is also white and about 16 and two others are white and believed to be in their early 30s.

The victim suffered a fractured eye socket in the attack.

Detective Constable Andrew Warren, of Trafford CID, said: “The victim suffered a serious facial injury and we have been working hard to identify the offender since this happened.

“Unfortunately we are no closer to knowing who is responsible so I would urge anyone who was in the pub and saw what happened or knows who is responsible to call the police.

“Perhaps you have overheard someone talking or boasting about this incident, if so please contact us in complete confidence.”
