Robbery – Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Milton Keynes.

At around 6.50pm on Monday (12/11), a 19-year-old woman was walking near the flats at Lindores Croft, Monkston, when she was approached from behind and attacked. The offender took her bag and ran off.

A member of public witnessed the offence, gave chase, and managed to retrieve the handbag which he returned to the victim.

No property was taken from the handbag and she did not suffer any injuries.

The offender is white, about 5ft 8ins, and average build. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top with short shaved hair.

Det Con Samantha Reynolds, of Milton Keynes police station, said: “We are particularly keen to hear from the member of the public who retrieved the bag as he may be able to assist us with our enquiries.”
