Rhuddlan burglaries

November 14, 2012, 3:19 pm

Police are asking residents of Rhuddlan to ensure their properties are secure following a spate of daylight burglaries.

The burglaries have happened in the Heol Hendre area of Rhuddlan, over the past two weeks, when offenders have entered properties and stolen household electrical items and cash.

Denbighshire Costal and Abergele Inspector, Jason Devonport stated:  “Local residents are asked to be vigilant with their security measures, ensuring back gates, doors and windows are secure.”

He added: “We are actively pursuing positive lines of enquiry and want to reassure residents that officers will be patrolling the areas at relevant times.”

Anyone who sees any suspicious activity in the area is urged to call the police control room via 101.
