Man charged with robbery of Air Ambulance HQ

A man will appear in court charged with robbing £12,000 of charity cash destined for the Midlands Air Ambulance.

The 31-year-old – arrested from an address in Kings Heath on Friday (Nov 23) – will appear before Birmingham magistrates tomorrow (27 November) to hear claims he raided the charitys HQ in Pedmore Road, Brierley Hill, on June 21 last year.

Its alleged he threatened staff before making off with cash from the safe.

He faces one count of conspiracy to rob and was remanded into prison; he will next appear at Birmingham Magistrates court tomorrow (27 November).
